VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES AT THE COMMUNITY TABLE
Create a Team to Feed the Hungry in Eau Claire
The Community Table serves hot meals 365 days each year to those in Eau Claire needing food
and hospitality.
We rely completely on volunteer teams from the community to prepare and serve the hungry.
You can help by forming a team of 6 to 12 members who will plan a meal, prepare and serve the
meal, and return the kitchen and dining area to a clean state.
Each Day approximately 125 people come to The Community Table seeking a hot meal. We ask
teams to prepare enough food for 125 servings.
2 to 5 team members are needed to cook and serve the food, 1 to wash dishes and 1 or 2 to clean
tables and to sweep and mop floors. Often, community service workers are available to help.
Each meal includes:
· Protein (minimum of 3 oz.)
· ½ Cup Vegetables
· ½ Cup Fruit
· Milk (6 to 8 gallons for everyone)
· Bread and/or Starch
· Dessert
Teams are always assisted by an on-site coordinator provided by The Community Table.
