Dear Friends,

In 2011 The Community Table served 37,403 first servings of meals to guests, an increase of 4,725 from 2010.  2,823 meals were served to children.  Many guests have shared stories of how the food, company and resources of TCT sustains them in these difficult times.  The support of Eau Claire for The Community Table is amazing, both in dollars and time.  On behalf of those who benefit from this wonderful place- THANK YOU!

Broadway Pizza Partnership

 Broadway Pizza
Broadway Pizza invites you to support The Community Table by eating pizza!  Their goal is to reach $4,000 in donations.  Monday through Friday, February 6th-10th, Broadway Pizza will host a noon pizza buffet with a suggested $5 per person donation, all of which will be given to The Community Table!
The dollars you donate for pizza will provide many meals for hungry people. Each dollar you donate will be used by The Community Table to purchase $10 worth of food from Feed My People Food Bank.
That is a lot of food!

The Community Table has a Car!

  New Car
Keith and Sharon Nergaard were getting a new car so they gave their old Ford Explorer to The Community Table!  Rick Mohr of Eau Claire Ford donated time and parts to make sure we are running in tip top shape.  Tami has been able to pick up the fresh fruit and vegetables donated by Target through Second Harvest Heartland.  23,000 pounds of rescued produce went into meals served at The Community Table.
You can help:  Cars need fuel!  Donations of gift cards for gasoline would be greatly appreciated.

Spring Cleaning

Spring must be here- or just around the corner!  Tami, our Kitchen Operations manager, and Dameon, a volunteer, cleaned our kitchen floor.  As you can see in the picture below everything but the kitchen sink was taken out.   Rainbow International Chippewa Valley cleaned and polished our dining room floors.   We sparkle thanks to all of the elbow grease of these good folks!   Tami tells me that we can use donations of Dawn dishsoap and toilet bowl cleaner to help keep us sparkling.

As always, we invite you to our table!
Meals are served at the following times:
Sun.     3:00-4:00 p.m.
Mon., Wed., Thurs. and Sat.  11:30 a.m.- 1:00 p.m.
Tues. and Fri.   5:00- 6:15 p.m.

Sincerely,
 Rachel Keniston
